Okay we’ve had a few chances now to listen to the soundtrack for ‘Eclipse’ and we have to say that this is really by far the best out of the three. The ‘Twilight’ soundtrack was really good and we enjoyed a few tracks likes Paramore’s ‘Decode’, but that was really the only “original” song on the soundtrack, the rest were all out already or remixes. ’New Moon’ soundtrack one upped it by having each song be brand new and original, but it was just a little to moody for my taste. In fact there are really only 2 songs that I really liked.
So by getting a first glimpse of the ‘Eclipse’ soundtrack I was super excited!! The songs range from upbeat, slow, slightly moody, and just awesome.
From the obvious track from ‘Muse’ (which has been out for a few weeks) to the amazing track ‘My Love’ from Mia which I’m really hoping is playing behind some HOTT Bella/Edward action or moment.
An odd like came from the track supplied by ‘Beck’ and ‘Bat for Lashes’ “Let’s Get Lost”, its shocking to me because I’m not the biggest ‘Beck’ fan but the beat of the song and the lyrics got me.
I’m a fan of ‘The Bravery’ but the track “Ours” was actually the first I listened to and right out of the gate loved it. I can totally see this being played during the grad party.
Be sure to check out Cee Lo Green’s “What Part of Forever” and the Howard Shore track “Jacob’s Theme” is just beautiful. In fact I’ve enjoyed all the “themes” with the exception of ‘Bella’s Lullaby’.
