According to estimates ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ brought in $68.5 million (including the $30 million midnight showing figure)!!
While that doesn’t beat the massive $72 million that ‘New Moon’ brought in, this does set a new record for Wednesday openings, beating ‘Transformers 2′ $62 million opening day. ‘Eclipse’ has also broken the record for highest single Summer Day opening, ‘The Dark Knight’ held that title with $67.2 million.
So bar, Box Office experts are saying the ‘Eclipse’ is on track for a $180 million dollar opening 5 day weekend!!
